I built Gut Sensei for women whose ambition did not disappear when they became mothers.
THE WOMAN BEHIND GUT SENSEI
I’m Rebecca, a mother of two, entrepreneur and the founder of Gut Sensei. More than 18 years of building and running a family business while raising my daughters has shown me how easily a woman’s energy, identity and ambitions can be pushed to the edge of her own life.
Through practical nourishment, emotional strength and realistic systems that work around family life, I help ambitious mothers care for themselves, trust their inner wisdom and create space for the future they still want.
When did you last ask yourself what success means to you now?
Still Ambitious offers space to explore the ambitions you still hold, the expectations you carry and the kind of life you want to build alongside motherhood.
Through Rebecca’s reflections on Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In and guided questions using the Gut Sensei Golden Triangle, this workbook invites you to examine what matters to you and consider where you want to go next.

How to Use This Journal
This reflection journal is designed to be used in a way that suits your life and energy.
Some readers prefer to write their responses in a separate private journal, where they can think freely without constraint. Others choose to print the pages and write directly on them. Both approaches are equally valid.
You can move through the chapters in order or dip into the sections that feel most relevant. There is no requirement to complete everything. The value comes from clarity, not completion.
This journal is meant to support thinking, not create another task.
Who This Is For
Ambitious women and mothers who want the key ideas without the full reading load
Readers who felt inspired by Lean In but also unsettled by it
Women who value independent thinking over prescriptive advice
Those looking for a gentle entry point into the Gut Sensei framework
It is a structured reflection journal designed to support clarity and self-trust.

Why I Created Gut Sensei
I know how easily a mother’s own wellbeing, ideas and ambitions can be pushed aside when she becomes responsible for everyone else.
I created Gut Sensei because caring for ourselves is part of how we care for our families. When mothers feel nourished, clear and connected to who they are, they can pursue meaningful goals and raise the next generation with strength, curiosity and humanity.
